Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LoudnessNormalizer desktop application ("the App") developed and distributed by Kazys Riskus ("I", "me", "my"). By purchasing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

2. License

When you purchase LoudnessNormalizer Pro, I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on one (1) Mac computer at a time. You may deactivate your license and reactivate it on a different Mac.

The free version of the App may be used without a license key, with functionality limited to processing one file at a time.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share your license key with others
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels in the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

4. Delivery

The App is delivered digitally. After purchase, you will receive a license key via email immediately. You can download the App from the website at any time. No physical goods are shipped.

5. Updates

Your purchase includes all future minor updates (e.g. 1.x) at no additional cost. Major version upgrades (e.g. 2.0) may require a separate purchase. Updates are delivered automatically through the App's built-in update mechanism.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including all code, design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Kazys Riskus. Your purchase grants you a license to use the App — it does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.

7. Your Data

The App processes audio files entirely on your local machine. I do not collect, transmit, or store any of your audio files or personal data. The only network communication the App makes is to check for software updates and to validate license keys.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. I do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. I am not liable for any data loss resulting from the use of the App. Always keep backups of your original audio files.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

10. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
